The weather on Sunday 20th May was just perfect for the Verwood Training Band’s outdoor Picnic in the Park Concert held at the Verwood Recreational Ground.

As can be seen from the photos it was an absolute delight to see so many people turn up to listen and also indulge in tea and cakes from the Verwood Band Tea Tent.

Whilst a whole concert means a lot of music to play, all of the band members thoroughly enjoyed the occasion.

The Training Band is always open to new brass players and percussionist of any age or ability so please do get in touch – contact details on our website – if you, or someone you know, would be interested in joining.
