Bugle Contest
Saturday 16th June
As has already been reported Verwood Concert Brass Principal Band had a great time last Saturday at the West of England Bandsmen’s Festival held in the Cornish village of Bugle.
They picked up the 2nd placed prize in both the March and Test Piece Contest earning them some nice bits of silverware to smuggle across the border back to Dorset.
Here are some photos from the day, thanks to Annie Butler, showing the ‘March Down’ through the village to the bandstand, the bandstand contest and then the ‘March Up’ through the village.
And perhaps no surprises as to where they ended up to celebrate!
