Every couple of years the Town Band are delighted to be invited to perform a concert in support of St Mary’s church in West Moors and another charity, on this occasion Sturts Farm, which provides support in the local community of West Moors and surrounding areas. Unfortunately Town Band’s normal conductor, Emma Button, was unable to make it to this concert but fortunately Jonathan Lush-Camps stepped in as guest conductor and did a great job of leading the band though its varied and entertaining programme of pieces as well as keeping the audience amused with his anecdotes and jokes. Here’s looking forward to 2020 when hopefully the band will be invited to perform again.
