What a totally delightful Sunday afternoon for our first post lockdown concert.

The sun was shining . . .

37 players from Verwood Concert Brass Band and Verwood Town Band were raring to perform . . .

musical director, Kevin Smith had baton poised . . .

a huge crowd of around 300 people gathered in anticipation . . .

and in a special moment, once more the fantastic sounds of a brass band floated across the village scene.

It’s so very nice to be back doing what we do – making music together. We’ve been doing it since 1864!
