Sunday morning of 21st November saw the recently formed Verwood Community Band perform its first Coffee Morning concert at the Verwood Memorial Hall.

It was quite an event for the band as there was a lot of music to play to fill the two hour concert and keep the audience entertained whilst enjoying their cuppas and homemade cake.

The band performed a really entertaining set of music under the baton of musical director Mike Dunnings and in the new year will be adding to their repertoire ready for their next Coffee Morning concert in February.

Before that of course the band will be getting ready to take part in the Verwood Concert Brass Christmas Concert on Saturday 18th at the Verwood Hub.
