Verwood Concert Brass Coffee Morning Concert
What a lovely concert it was this morning. The band played some cracking pieces and of course just had to open proceedings with “God Save The Queen” on this historic day.

It was fabulous to see the hall full of people from the community and player’s family and friends who turned out to support the band. We’d like to think it wasn’t just the lure of the delicious homemade cakes and refreshments!

Hopefully they all learned something too as conductor Mike Dunnings took the audience on an impromptu tour of the band as a member from each section played a few notes to demonstrate how each instrument sounds.

The Community Band now look forward to performing with the other Verwood Concert Brass bands at our Spring Concert at the Verwood Hub on Saturday 9th April 7:30 – 10:00. Tickets available from the Hub £10 (£6 for under 18’s). We look forward to seeing you there.
