Our Principal Band and Town Band were competing last week-end at the WEBBA Regional contest.

The Town Band came a fantastic 2nd in the 3rd Section contest and proudly go forward to represent the West of England Region at the National Finals in September at Cheltenham to compete against the other top 3rd Section bands from across the UK.

Our Championship Section Principal Band, against stiff competition, came a creditable 6th overall. Although not qualifying for the National Finals they are looking forward to their next challenge, and still competing at a national level, in the British Open Senior Cup held at Blackpool in May. Well done both bands, you’ve done us proud!
