Last Saturday saw Verwood Town Band compete in the 3rd section National Finals at Cheltenham Race course.

We were drawn to play 15th out of 20 bands. We gave what we thought was a reasonable performance but unfortunately only achieved 11th place. Not the result we hoped for but due to our strong performance in the Regional contests 2 years running, Verwood Town Band will but promoted to 2nd section next year.
