We need to raise a huge amount of money, £250,000, to fix our band hall which is in danger of become unusable due to subsidence. Without a band hall the future of Verwood Concert Brass as we know it is in jeopardy.

We’ve been going since 1864 and we wont let this stop us now but we do need all the help we can get.

Here’s how you can help
Make a donation: We have set up our own JustGiving page to make it easy for you to make donations and if you are eligible to use Gift Aid your donation will be boosted by 25%.
To make a donation via JustGiving please click the ‘Donate Now’ button.
Run a fund raising event:If you want to raise some money for us by doing, say a sponsored walk, there is a link from our JustGiving campaign page that makes it easy to set up your own event which you can then promote out to your friends and family. What they donate to your event will then automatically feed through into our JustGiving fund raising.
Attend our concerts:We are fortunate that we can raise money by performing concerts but only if people come to them. Tickets for our quarterly concerts at the Verwood Hub are only £10 and if you come to our free “Brass on the Grass” open-air concerts there will be an opportunity to drop some money in a collection bucket to show your appreciation.
Hire a band for an event:If you are having an event, be it wedding, garden party, village fete or whatever, then why not hire, from a small ensemble of players through to a full band, to suit the occasion. Hire a Band
Sponsor a player:A lot of our supporters like to sponsor a player and it is just £25 for a year. However, there are still quite a few players in the Community Band and Acorns new starter group who are sadly without a sponsor. Go on – make them happy. Sponsor a Player
Use “Smile.Amazon.co.uk”:Use this instead of “Amazon.co.uk” for your online shopping. It is exactly the same except Amazon will donate 0.05% of each eligible purchase you make to your selected charity. All you need to do is select “Verwood Prize Band (Verwood Concert Brass)” as your chosen charity. Make the switch and think how good you will feel spending your money knowing a bit will be coming our way – it will make us smile.
