It’s that time again the annual Regional Contest in Torquay.

Verwood Town Band results – a creditable 7th out of 15 bands.

The band came off stage happy with how they played with many positive comments from those that listened saying they were surprised we were not placed higher.

But that’s banding and the main thing is the band had a great time.

And the result for Verwood Concert Brass Band was 8th out of 12 competing bands in the Championship section.

It’s always going to be a tough section so well done the band and many congrats to the winners Flowers, 2nd placed Woodfalls and 3rd placed Camborne Town.

Of course both the Verwood Town Band and Verwood Concert Brass Band would have liked higher placings but they both gave it their best and above all had a great time.
