Training Band & Youth Ensemble Victory

Saturday 26th January

The Verwood Training Band and Verwood Youth Ensemble once again took part in the Wessex Brass Band Association contest and were absolutely thrilled to have played well and come away with some of the prize winners silverware.

Overall between them they were awarded six prizes plus a silver award for the Youth Ensemble and gold award for the Training Band. Plus of course retain the title of Wessex Champions!

Conductor Mike Dunnings was also over the moon and said “Very very proud of these lovely people! Well done all of you and well done to all of the other bands, you are all winners!”

Couldn’t agree more.
